Clinical Information
Aquasil DECA is a dynamic mixing system for the Quadrafunctional Hydrophilic Siloxane impression material. The product is presented in two consistencies, for use with the Penta mix machine.
Aquasil Heavy FS DECA presentation offers:
- Optimised viscosity for precise placement in the tray
- High elasticity for ease of removal from the mouth and from the laboratory model
- High final hardness for easier cutting of the putty impression in the putty wash technique
- Snap set
Heavy FS is used in conjunction with Aquasil LV/ULV which offers a choice of viscosity (light and ultra light) both of which offer ideal thixotropic characteristics, superior tear strength and snap setting.
Each 25ml cartridge offers:
- Yield up to 15 impressions
- Thin short tips to minimise waste and reduce pressure for extrusion by 86% (compared to the traditional 48ml cartridge)
- Aquasil Monophase FS DECA presentation offers:Improved hydrophilicity for better flow in moist oral surroundings
- High elasticity for comfortable removal from the tray
- Thixotropic behaviour
- Snap setting
