Clinical Information
Even without the use of Prime & Bond® NT, the adhesive strength of Dyract® Cemplus surpasses that of conventional glass-ionomer cements. If Dyract® Cemplus is applied together with Prime & Bond® NT, adhesion to dentine can be almost doubled. This ensures a fixing of every crown, bridge, inlay, etc. Dyract® Cemplus is not soluble, which is an important criteria for long-term use and aesthetics. A new coating process enables Dyract® Cemplus to better the resistance towards moisture absorption, ensuring non-problematic and safe use of Dyract® Cemplus
Dyract® Cemplus is available in a translucent and opaque version; the translucent version is less opaque than dental enamel and offers Outstanding aesthetics when fitting sophisticated tooth-coloured restorations such as full ceramic crowns, tooth-coloured inlays and veneers. Cement margins can simply no longer be seen. Opaque version prevents metallic constructions (used in Maryland bridges) from being visible from the outside.
Dyract® Cemplus cement which can be used universally, has the following key benefits:
- Moisture resistant
- Storage without refrigeration
- Best mechanical strength for high resistance to stress and abrasion
- Film thickness is less than 15µm
- Opacity to X-rays
- Low expansion
- Storage without refrigeration
Indications - Dyract® Cemplus is indicated for permanent cementation of:
- Conventional metal or porcelain-fused-to-metal, inlays, onlays, crowns, bridges, posts and post-core units
- Porcelain or composite inlays, onlays, crowns and veneers
