Dyract eXtra Restorative Sytem is the most recent and advanced DENTSPLY compomer restorative material offering. It is based on DENTSPLY’s ten year experience and clinical success with Dyract and Dyract AP, which is documented by more than 140 scientific publications.
Its state-of-the-art composition allows Dyract eXtra to combine the strength and aesthetics of composites with the low net shrinkage and fluoride release properties typical of glass ionomers.
Dyract® eXtra offers fast and easy placement and simple handling due to the creamy, non-sticky consistency, which has been optimised for perfect cavity adaptation. Further improvements are longer working time (90s), shorter curing times (10s) – for at least 2mm depth of cure with 800mW/cm2- and ease of finishing. Independent polishability tests by Watts, University of Manchester, UK, show the extraordinarily smooth surface of Dyract® eXtra under treatment conditions, even prior to finishing. The wear resistance of Dyract® eXtra has been further improved, making it suitable for restorations of all cavity classes.

· Cervical lesions
· Paedodontics
· Adult posterior Class restorations (I + ll)
Patients with high caries risk as well as the elderly and less procedure compliant patients.
